Senate Summons Femi Falana over DSS re-arrest of Omoleye Sowore

The dust raised by the alleged invasion of the Federal High Court in Abuja by operatives of the State Security Services to arrest convener of the #Revolutionnow Protest, Omoyele Sowore is yet to settle.

Yesterday, the Senate invited Sowore’s lead lawyer, Femi Falana, to appear before it over the issue.

In a letter was signed by the chairman of the committee, Micheal Bamidele,  Falana was asked to appear before the Committee on Judiciary, Human Rights and Legal matters today.

You may recall that the President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, had on December 11, directed the committee on judiciary to commence an investigation into the matter and report in one week time.
