President Buhari Appoint new Director of National Institute for Sports

As President Muhammadu Buhari’s first term winds down, some appointments have started trickling in, with the latest being Dr John Dadi-Mamud as the new Director of the National Institute for Sports.

The appointment, which is contained a letter from the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, is for an initial term of four years.

Fifty-three-year-old Dadi-Mamud, who hails from Kogi State, had served in various capacities in the institute including Acting Director and Coordinator, Academic programmes.

His appointment took effect from May 14, 2019. The National Institute for Sports is a research and training institute for sports in Nigeria.
