Pres. Buhari Attends Counter-Terrorism Summit In Jordan

President @MBuhari is in Aqaba, Jordan, for the Counter-Terrorism Summit.
The Summit, hosted by His Majesty, King Abdullah II of Jordan, will be attended by West African Heads of State, Reps of Govts of 48 countries, and CSOs.

Buhari met President Ouattara on the sidelines of the AU-EU Summit. An opportunity for frank talk about the situation in Togo. “We must find a solution. The government and opposition must work to gain each other’s trust. Instability in Togo will have serious regional consequences.”

He also met with Chancellor Merkel in Abidjan. They discussed increased cooperation to check the illegal migration of Nigerians to Europe and discussed the progress of war on terrorism, as well as investment opportunities in Nigeria for German companies.
