Osinbajo to inaugurates Cooking Gas cylinder manufacturing plant in Lagos

Tomorrow will birth the inauguration of a cooking gas cylinder-manufacturing plant in Lagos by Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo.

The plant which will be the biggest of its type in West Africa came as a result of the concern from some stakeholder that Nigeria was importing gas cylinders in the country.

Reports say the building of the private plant commenced since 2015 and it has been under strict supervision of various regulatory agencies, including the Standards Organization of Nigeria, Department of Petroleum Resources and others.

Apart from creating employment opportunities, the plant will also come handy in driving the Nigerian economy through innovation in line with the policy objective of the federal government in the oil and gas value-chain.
