As the count-down to Christmas and New Year celebration begins, the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation and the House of Representatives have assured Nigerians that there will be no fuel scarcity.
Group Managing Director of the NNPC, Mele Kyari, and the Chairman, House of Representatives’ Committee on Petroleum Abdullahi Gaya, gave the assurance yesterday in Lagos during an inspection tour of the newly rehabilitated Ijegun-Egba access road.
Kyari said over two point six million litres of petrol was available to carry Nigerians throughout the festive season.
He said the era of sharp practices by corrupt persons in the supply and distribution of petroleum resources had gone.
