The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation has released two hundred and fifty trucks of petrol to Lagos to ensure the product’s availability.

Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation spokesman Mr Ndu Ughamadu, stated that there was a slight change in the distribution network in Lagos, as the city is currently being supplied by the Major Oil Marketers Association of Nigeria .

The NNPC Group General Manager (Public Affairs) noted that the ships which started discharging on Saturday night had finished offloading adding that the long queue will soon disappear in Lagos.

Ughamadu urged motorists to avoid petrol storage and panic buying, as sufficient product is in stock.
