Nigerian Senate to hold another round of retreat in Akwa Ibom.

Senate President, Godswill Akpabio has assured Nigerians that disagreement amongst senators will never result in throwing chairs like what used to happen in the past.
Senator Akpabio who gave the assurance on the sidelines of the face-off between him and the Senate Chief Whip, Senator Ali Ndume, spoke to State House Reporters, yesterday, shortly after a closed door meeting with President Bola Tinubu.
The Senate President affirmed that the majority will always have their way with every decision.

According to him, as politicians, they have no permanent foes but permanent interests, and that the chamber has always resorted to executive sessions to deal with contentious matters.
Speaking on his visit to the Presidential Villa, the Senate President said he was at the villa to apprise President Tinubu of the Senate retreat coming up in Akwa Ibom State today.

Senator Akpabio also informed the president the entire senate will be in Akwa Ibom for four days.
