National Assembly increases 2020 Budget

At the House of Representatives, the 2020 Appropriation Bill was also passed, after it was raised from the proposed ten point three-three trillion naira to ten point five-nine trillion naira.
This followed the consideration and unanimous adoption of the report by the House Committee on Appropriations on the bill.
The House asked that the national budget run from January 1, 2020, a move which will return Nigeria to the January to December budget cycle
