Monthly Sanitation in Akwa Ibom holds Saturday, June 29

The monthly Environmental sanitation exercise for the month of June will hold this Saturday, from 7 to 10 a.m.
A statement by the Chairman, Akwa Ibom State Environmental Protection and waste management Board Prince Ikim has implored all indigenes and residents of the state to participate in the exercise noting that defaulters would be prosecuted.
The statement warned that there will be restriction of movement during the period of the exercise.
Prince Ikim however clarified that only parents and guardians who are conveying their wards to the 2019/2020 entrance examination into command science secondary school Efa Etinan are exempted.
He also reminded those seeking to pass through the state during the period of the exercise that officials of government and Law Enforcement Agents would be on hand to monitor and ensure compliance across the state.
