Monthly environmental sanitation holds tomorrow

The October edition of the environmental sanitation in Akwa Ibom will take place tomorrow, with restriction of human and vehicular movements across the State from seven to ten o’clock in the morning.
Commissioner for Information, Charles Udoh, who stated this in a statement, called on all residents and indigenes of the state to participate in the exercise.
Udoh advised community leaders to mobilize their subjects to participate and comply with the restriction of movement order during the exercise.
The Commissioner reminded residents and those seeking to pass through the state during the period that officials of government and Law Enforcement Agents will be on hand to monitor and ensure compliance.
Udoh emphasized the necessity of maintaining a clean environment and cautioned that defaulters during the exercise will be arrested and prosecuted.
