Governor Emmanuel Eulogizes Senator Helen Esuene at Seventy

Governor Udom Emmanuel and wife Martha were among the high profile Guests at the Seventieth birthday celebration of Senator Helen Esuene and Unveiling of her Biography at Ibom Hotels and Golf Resort, Uyo.

Governor Emmanuel congratulated Senator Helen Esuene for joining the league of senior citizens and eulogized her passion for humanity and charity to the less privileged members of the society right from the days of the civil war as the First Lady in the erstwhile South Eastern state.

He said that her outstanding performance as the Senator representing Akwa Ibom South and as a two time minister in the Federal executive council attest to her sagacity of purpose and distinguished her as a quintessential Amazon.

Governor Emmanuel said  he was particularly enthused by her zeal in the Great commission as a Bishop describing her as virtuous woman whom her children and indeed the state and Country are proud of and lauded her comportment and exemplary conduct and urged other women to emulate her.

Unveiling the book Dr Martha Udom Emmanuel assisted by the wife of the former president Mrs Bola Obasanjo applauded the legendary exploit of Senator Helen Esuene describing her as an Amazon and called on everyone to grab a copy to savor the rich biography of a mother of substance.
