Defense Secretary Esper says U.S. has made no decision to leave Iraq

As the face-off between the US and Iran continues, the US Defense Secretary, Mark Esper, is insisting that America will not pull out its militarily from Iraq.

The US government, Iraqi Parliament had voted for US troops to evacuate the country immediately following the assassination of Iranian army General, Qassem Soleimani.

Defense Secretary, Esper told newsmen that there was no plan for troops to leave Iraq any time soon.

Meanwhile, the secretary General of the Lebanese movement has issued fresh threats that US soldiers and officers would return home in coffins if they refuse to leave.

In a television broadcast, Nasrallah said the response to the assassination of Soleimani was not only Iran’s responsibility, but also that of the entire axis of resistance
