COVID-19: Corps members to resume orientation when coast is clear – NYSC DG

Batch ‘A’ corps members have been told to prepare their minds to return to camp, to complete their orientation course as soon as Nigeria was clear over Covid-19.

Director-General National Youth Service Corps, Brigadier-General Shuaib Ibrahim, who spoke with newsmen in Abuja, explained that, the suspension of the exercise was temporary, to curtail spread of the Coronavirus.

Ibrahim recalled that the same method was employed by NYSC during the Ebola epidemic.

Meanwhile, Bayelsa, Niger and Taraba states have closed their orientation camps.
