Code of Conduct Tribunal found CJN Onnoghen, Guilty of false Asset Declaration

Reports reaching Comfort 95.1 FM News has it that the Code of Conduct Tribunal has found the suspended Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Walter Onnoghen, guilty of false asset declaration.
While delivering its judgement on Thursday, the three-man panel chaired by Danladi Umar therefore removed him from the office as Chief Justice of Nigeria and Chairman of National Judicial Council (NJC).
The Tribunal has also ordered his removal from office and barred him for holding any public office for the next ten years .
All the monies in his five accounts have been confiscated on the basis that they were acquired illegally.
The Tribunal gave the judgment today in Abuja.
