CALABAR CARNIVAL

No fewer than twenty-six countries including, Mexico, South Africa, Thailand, Greece, Brazil, Kenya, Ghana, Senegal, and Rwanda, are participating in the 2017 Calabar carnival.
A Commissioner in the Carnival Commission, Ikobi Ikobi, said the countries have shown interest to participate in the 2017 edition with the theme, “Migration’’.
Ikobi said most of the countries will have their own bands on the grand finale of the carnival which is scheduled for December 27 and 28.
