Written by on December 13, 2019

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has won a parliamentary majority after a snap election was called over Brexit.

Results show that the Tories won three hundred and twenty six of the six hundred and fifty seats in the lower House of Commons.

Analysts say this would be the party’s biggest majority in three decades.

Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump has congratulated UK Boris Johnson on his victory, saying their two countries were now free to strike a “massive” new trade deal.
