Al-Ahly, Mamelody Sundowns Pick AFL – Semifinal Tickets

The first semi-finalists for the maiden edition of the African Football League have been confirmed.
Al-Ahly of Egypt qualified for the semi-final of the African Football League following their 1-1 home draw against Simba of Tanzania.
The Egyptian giants progressed into the last four on a superior away goal rule having drawn the first leg 2-2 in Tanzania last weekend.
They were joined in the semi-final by Mamelodi Sundown of South Africa who edged out Petro Luanda of Angola 2-0 – on aggregate.
The second leg match held in South Africa on Tuesday ended goalless and the South Africans had secured a 0-2 away victory in the first leg last weekend.
