Senate President, Governors, rekindle hope for better Nigeria in New Year messages

President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, in his message to Nigerians, assured them that the National Assembly will continue to do its best to improve their lives through enactment of good legislations and sustenance of harmonious working relationship with other arms of government.

While congratulating Nigerians for witnessing the beginning of the year, he expressed the hope that it will usher in robust peace and economic growth for the benefit of all Nigerians.

Similarly, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, urged Nigerians to be optimistic for a better Nigeria in 2020.

On his part, a former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, called on Nigerians to be united more than before and assist the government tackle the insecurity menace ravaging the country.

For Adamawa Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, 2020 offers Nigerians a moment of new chances, a time of sober reflections, a period of new starts of viable dreams, a moment to enjoy some fresh air.

And finally, Gombe Governor, Muhammadu Yahaya, has enjoined the people of the state to look to the future with optimism and renew their commitment to peace and unity
