Amid name calling between Nigeria and South Africa due to xenophobic attacks, President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, today met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, to discuss the next line of action to take to tackle the attacks.

The meeting considered the recall of the Nigeria High Commissioner to South Africa, Ambassador Kabiru Bala, for consultation over the xenophobic attacks on Nigerians in that country.

Onyeama told newsmen that a final decision will be taken after the report of the special envoy sent to South Africa.

The Minister had demanded for compensation from the South African government for Nigerians who have suffered loss in the attacks.
