President Buhari calls for deeper patriotism from Nigerians

President Muhammadu Buhari has again promised that his government will continue to focus on providing a safe and secure nation with policies and programs that will bring prosperity to the masses.

The President mentioned this when he received the 2019 National Productivity Order of Merit award recipients at the State House, Presidential Villa, in Abuja.

Buhari charged Nigerian workers on the need to boast productivity and urged Nigerian youths to emulate the award receipts, who were recognized for their exemplary service in different sectors.

He announced plans by the National Productivity Centre to organize annual forums for past awardees to come together and exchange ideas on how to encourage selfless service to the nation.

Some of the award receipts honored were by the President include the Chairman of Tony Elumelu Foundation, Tony Elumelu; Registrar of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, Ishaq Oloyede and Chairman, Kpanpando Foundation for Persons with Disability, Queen Makama.
