Presidency Defends DSS on Omoleye Sowore’s Re-arrest

Written by on December 9, 2019

The Presidency has once again justified the re-arrest of Omoyele Sowore by operatives of the DSS saying millions of Nigerians are not bothered.

Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, said this during a TV programme in Lagos.

Adesina was reacting to the outrage that greeted the violent re-arrest of Sowore in the court room.

He said the Presidency stands by the claim of the State Security Service that the video circulating did not reflect what actually transpired in court.
