Plateau State Governor inaugurates Cabinets, set Liquidity Committee for Financial Prudence

Towards deepening transparency in Plateau State, Governor Simon Lalong has approved the setting up of a Liquidity Management Committee to infuse budgetary provisions and approvals into governance.

The Committee is also expected to ensure that efficient financial and adequate project financing are built into governance to ensure prudent management of scarce resources.

Governor Lalong who stated this in Jos during the swearing-in of twenty-three Commissioners appointed by him, said the step is consistent with best practices.

He advised the newly sworn-in Commissioners to discharge their duties in their respective Ministries and work hard to deliver quality service to the people within the ambit of his administration’s policy thrust.
