Nigerian troops are ready to partner with Cameroonian and Chadian soldiers to end the insurgency.

Addressing troops at the Army Supercamp 1 Ngamdu in Yobe, the Chief of Army Staff, Major General Ibrahim Attahiru, reaffirmed his commitment to end insurgency and restore normalcy to the North-East and the entire country.

Attahiru said the successes recorded recently by Operation Tura Takaibango will be cashed in to end the insurgency, in tandem with the forces from the Republic of Cameroon.

He said the Nigerian troops will bring in the Çhadians to ensure the annihilation of the insurgents in the North-East soonest.

The Army Chief assured the personnel that challenges confronting soldiers on the frontline were surmountable and would be addressed with military effectiveness.
