The Federal Government is to set up a National Content Development Fund to assist content developers in producing quality programmes.
Director General of the National Broadcasting Commission, Mr. Moddebo Kawu, announced the gesture at a Content Development Workshop which took place recently at Ilorin.
Mr. Kawu said the commission will seek assistance from financial institutions for the buoyancy of the fund.
He said already, the Bank of Industry was giving loans to content developers, and advised those yet to assess the facility to apply.
The NBC also urged Content producers to be more creative if they must be relevant in the approaching digitization era.
