NANS threatens to protest if ASUU resumes suspended strike

Written by on December 24, 2020

Members of the National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS, are threatening to embark on a mass protest if the Academic Staff Union of Universities resumes its just suspended strike.

NANS President, Sunday Asefon, stated this during an interview with newsmen today.

Asefon condemned the conditional clause attached to the suspension of industrial action by ASUU.

According to Asefon, it was embarrassing and ridiculous for ASUU to threaten a fresh strike after wasting the academic time of Nigerian students for nine months.
