Written by on January 25, 2021

Ministry of Works and Housing is rebuilding forty-three roads within tertiary schools across the country, to enhance the learning environment.

Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, stated this while handing over a two-kilometer internal road, reconstructed at the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi.

The Minister, who was represented by the Federal Controller of Works, in Benue State, Charles Oke, said the quality of education would be impacted by the quality of infrastructure and learning environment, just as the intervention project had also created jobs for Nigerians.

Fashola explained that the infrastructure gap in the country was steadily being bridged through repairs, renewal, and reconstruction of major highways.
