EFCC Academy gets new Commandant

A new Commandant has been appointed for the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission Academy, Karu in Abuja.

The name of the new commandant is Ladi Hamalai.

The Commission, which announced this in a statement signed by its spokesperson, Tony Orilade, noted that Hamalai is succeeding David Tukura, who recently resigned his position.

According to the EFCC, Hamalai retired in May, as the Director-General, National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies after serving two terms under the seventh and eighth National Assembly.

The statement noted that Tukura had resigned to enable him take up a new assignment as the paramount ruler of his home community in Nasarawa.
