Who wins the 2018 CHAN Nations Cup in Morocco?

This question will be answered on Sunday when home-based Super Eagles of Nigeria file out against host, Morocco in the finals of the competition.

The two final tickets were secured yesterday when Nigeria outplayed hard-fighting Sudan by a lone goal while Morocco edged out Libya by three goals to one in the other semi-final encounter.

Nigeria’s winning goal was scored in the sixteenth minute of the pulsating match by Akwa United striker, Gabriel Okechukwu, sporting jersey number twenty two.

Eagles captain and goal tender, Ikechukwu Ezenwa, was taken out of the pitch in the early minutes of the match due to injury.

He was replaced by substitute, Dele Ajiboye of Plateau United, who turned out to be the man of the match because of the many daring saves he made to give the Eagles victory.

Nigeria was forced to play ten men against eleven for the most part of the encounter following a marching order from the center referee to Ifeanyi Ifeanyi in the 58th minute after picking up a second yellow card.

For the records, the home-based Eagles have not lost a match since the kick-off of the tournament and hope to win the tournament for the first time on Sunday with the God of Soccer on their side.
