Buhari orders Continuation of NDDC Interim Management Team till Conclusion of Forensic Audit

President Muhammadu Buhari has directed the continuation of the Interim Management Team at the Niger Delta Development Commission pending the completion of the forensic audit.

According to a statement signed by Presidential Media Aide, Femi Adeshina, the Board of the NDDC will be recomposed and inaugurated after the forensic audit of the organisation.

The President has also directed that the supervision of the Commission shall remain under the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs.

This puts to rest the controversy over the legality of the Interim management team as well as when the substantive Board of the commission is to be constituted.
