Ahead of Workers Day, Akwa Ibom SSG Hail workers for their Loyalty & Dedication to duty

As workers in the state join their counterparts all over the world to mark the International Workers’ day tomorrow, Secretary to the State Government, Dr Emmanuel Ekuwem has hailed their loyalty and dedication to duty.

In a chat with Comfort FM, the renowned technocrat noted Akwa Ibom workers have contributed immensely to the development of the state through harmonious relationship with government.

He attributed the warm industrial relations in the state to the determination of Governor Udom Emmanuel to accord attention to all issues affecting workers welfare including prompt payment of salaries and retirement benefits as well as promotion of workers.

According to Ekuwem, the Compassion with which Governor Emmanuel treats workers in the state should be reciprocated through more diligence, commitment and undiluted support to his administration.

Ekuwem charged the workers to use the May Day celebration to energize their Minds towards the dakkada philosophy of the state government by pursuing excellence in the discharge of their duties.
