EUROPEAN UNION TO INVEST IN NIGERIA’S SOLID MINERALS TO DIVERSIFY TRADE

The European Union (EU) has expressed interest in expanding trade and investment of member countries to Nigeria’s solid minerals sector.
EU ambassador to Nigeria and Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), Gautier Mignot, disclosed this during a courtesy visit to the Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Dele Alake, in Abuja on Thursday.
A statement by the ministry stated that the ambassador commended ongoing efforts to reposition Nigeria’s mining sector, noting that the EU delegation seeks to better understand the industry and explore areas of mutual interest and collaboration
